Money to train more breastfeeding peer supporters instead of paying women to breastfeed
We would like the government to fund more peer supporter breastfeeding training. so that there is much better support and information available for women in those first crucial couple of weeks of breast-feeding.
So that women who struggle have some support and are less likely to give up.
This petition has been started as women do not give up because of money they give up as they often need help and there is not enough available when they are starting their breastfeeding journey.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
