Review the law on lone night working to reduce risk to employees in hospitality.
I am aware of the lack of directive law surrounding risk management and security for those working alone at night in the hospitality sector.
While keeping within petition standards I call upon parliament to review the law surrounding lone working within the hospitality sector.
Many working within the hotel industry cover front of desk at night without security personnel or an additional colleague present. This leaves them vulnerable and exposed to risk of harm from others who have access to the individual throughout the duration of the night.
This petition is seeking signatures of support to request that parliament reconsider the law in order to reduce the risk of harm from others to employees working through the night in the hospitality sector.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We understand you're concerned about lone workers, but we're not sure exactly what changes you'd like to be considered.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
