Scrap the school year and start fresh in September.
With lockdown it has been exceptionally hard for children to learn the adequate amount of work that would be done at a full week of school. My youngest son hated school and only just got used to the teachers and started looking forward to going to school, my eldest who is ASD is still being helped
With ways to work in the school environment properly. He is due to go to to junior school in September and I'm worried sick about how he will cope, lockdown has made him regress so badly I know he will be too overwhelmed with a whole new school experience after no proper integration.
I'm proposing that the school year this year is scrapped and started fresh in September with the same school year. We can't teach our kids everything they need to learn at home, no matter how hard we try.
