Public transport workers to be one of the first vaccinated from Covid-19
Public transport workers should be one of the first to be vaccinated to not only stop the spread between the passengers we carry but also between other colleagues we may cross paths with. Along with the NHS workers that will be vaccinated we to have an important role in keeping the country moving.
Public transport workers are one of the main key workers and we have been one of the industries that have worked none stop throughout the pandemic providing key services for people. Unfortunately at times we do have to get quite close to people to resolve certain problems even with protection the virus can still spread between one another, causing workers to self-isolate which then has a negative impact on the services that can be provided to the public due to the amount of ‘well’ workers.
