Establish an independent enquiry that explores the adverse impact of lockdown.
The enquiry results must be made public and accurately explore data relating to the negative impacts on physical health, mental wellbeing and household incomes across the UK, including missed / cancelled hospital treatment, suicide & depression, unemployment and business closures.
There is very little media or governmental coverage of the negative societal and personal impact of lockdown measures that have now stretched close to a year.
Balanced debate can be achieved via the availability of data and analysis delivered by an independent, reputable organisation with no vested interests.
A government’s duty is to fully understand the ramifications of its actions and take accountability. It is also clearly in the public interest to better understand the current situation.
