Listen to the U.K European logistics industry to stop the current carnage.
We want the Government to consult with European logistics companies who are experiencing the problems first hand. They can help the Government to see where the real issues are and be part of the solution. We have the answers, the Government just need to listen to us.
UK traders are experiencing many problems trying to get their goods to and from the EU. There are I.T and infrastructure problems, lack of customs agents, delays with the issuing of CCGs, severe lack of companies offering T1 customs services and a huge fall in the number of EU drivers coming to the UK causing prices to increase sharply. The EU customers we send our goods to are already loosing faith in their UK suppliers' ability to deliver goods to them in a timely and cost-effective manner.
