A campaign to get comedy into the classroom.
Now, more than ever, after all that our kids have been through this last year, it’s time for children to benefit from comedy being on the school agenda. Just for thirty minutes every week.
Children who master comedy master EVERYTHING.
Literary, conversational, peer-group and connection skills; resilience, self-belief and confidence building; improvements in task completion, emotional awareness and response. When it comes to life-skills, comedy has it all. And the medical science stuff too. Cardio and immunity boosted; stress and anxiety hormones reduced. Facts!
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure if you'd like comedy to be taught in schools or to be provided for children to see.
You could start a new petition calling for comedy to be added to the National Curriculum, if that's what you'd like to see happen.
