More help with funding for nursery places for parents affected by COVID

Petition Details

I would like the government to offer more help to parents struggling due to COVID We currently don’t qualify for funding for our 2 year old to go to nursery even though I have been made redundant through COVID 19.

Additional Information

My child is missing out on early years education and social interaction because of COVID 19.
I have been made redundant due to COVID 19 but we are just outside the bracket for funding. We have no spare income to pay for nursery fees or childcare.
If I don’t find full time work she won’t qualify when she is 3 either. With the current unemployment levels this is very real possibility.
Our younger children are forgotten
