Vaccinate hospitalised elderly patients, the virus is not being contained.
Vaccinate patients in hospitals against COVID-19. Nobody already suffering in hospital should be concerned about contracting the virus - like my own Grandma has. I haven’t seen her in months to prevent the spread of COVID and now she has caught it from the inside.
The elderly patients In hospitals should’ve been the first people we vaccinated and it’s absolutely appalling there is no plans to rectify this. The reason why I want to try incite this change quickly is I don’t want anybody else to feel the looming anxiety from COVID infecting hospital wards, or let alone lose any patients to the virus, patients that are already trying so hard to fight other conditions they face in order to be free from hospital.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We are sorry to hear about your grandmother, and hope she recovers soon.
Access to Covid-19 vaccination has already been prioritised on the basis of age and clinical vulnerability. Deciding when it is able to offer vaccination to individual patients in these priority groups is a matter for individual NHS trusts, not the Government or House of Commons.
If you want all people who have been hospitalised to be prioritised for vaccination we could accept a petition requesting this.
