Petition Action

Make the Iris flower the National Symbol of Remembrance for those lost to Covid

Petition Details

100,000 tragic deaths due to Covid-19, 3 of which were extremely precious members of my family.
Please implement the Iris flower as a National Symbol of Remembrance for the fallen, alongside a national day of mourning. Wearable Irises could raise money for Covid charities & the NHS.

Additional Information

Those we’ve lost should never be forgotten. If we implement the Iris as a National Symbol of Remembrance for all those who have lost their lives due to Covid, it would be a lasting mark of respect. Just as we never forget the fallen on Armistice day, please ensure that we never forget the fallen in the war against Covid.
