Change the Road Traffic Act so that the life of an unborn child is acknowledged

Petition Details

Ensure police can prosecute drivers who cause an accident involving an unborn child for a specific criminal offence that reflects this crime.

Additional Information

Dangerous drivers who kill unborn children should be treated in the same way as anyone who takes a life and prosecuted for that specific crime. At present there is no specific offence that would act as a deterrent and give justice for grieving families.
