Scrap tuition fees for Student Nurses.
We want Nursing degrees to return to being funded rather than funding them through student finance. We are the future key workers and the ones who are mostly over looked.
We are paying £9,750 a year, which for almost a year now has been taught via online content and we have even missed placements due to understaffing. We want to be recognised and we want the degree to go back to being fully funded. We are training because we love what we do but it is difficult, it is testing and right now, a lot of us are asking why we are doing it? Upon graduation a lot of us will be in £60K worth of debt. This could be slashed by up to half of the degree was funded.
