Allow students doing a 2nd degree in paramedics to be eligible for student loans
Change the law so students doing paramedicine as a second degree are eligible for student finance. This will allow them to have access to the NHS learning support fund which although not means tested, you cannot claim if you aren’t eligible for student finance.
Without the £5000 NHS learning support fund, paramedic students with an existing degree have to fund all costs themselves. This only applies to paramedicine degrees & no other medical degrees.
