Pause Covid-19 vaccinations to enable fair global distribution of supplies
The WHO have asked the UK to pause its vaccination programme after vulnerable groups have received their jabs to help ensure the global rollout of doses is fair.
If we protect ourselves but allow the virus to remain unchecked in poorer countries more variants will emerge. It is both economically and ethically the right thing to do to act globally rather than nationally on this issue.
