Drivers who drop litter should be made to clear litter from the roadsides.

Punish litter dropping drivers by giving them the unpleasant job of clearing roadsides of litter, allowing local councils to spend resources in other areas.

Additional Information

Roadside litter in the UK is out of control, it is a national disgrace and embarrassment. The easiest way to deal with it is to create a deterant to stop people doing it in the first place, which will also save cash strapped councils a fortune in cleaning costs.

Any offence should result in four , six hour supervised roadside cleaning shifts as community service, over one month or a ten thousand pound fine.
