Change the priority group for unpaid Carers for the Covid vaccine.
Ensure that unpaid carers are given the COVID vaccine at the same time as the person they care for in order to stop the unpaid carer picking up COVID when they attend the appointment with the person they care for.
I am an unpaid Carer for my daughter who should be in group 4 for the vaccine. She cannot travel by herself and is unable to go for a vaccine without myself or a family member with her. If we do not receive the vaccination at the same time we as the carer are putting our own lives at risk attending the appointment with her. Thus putting her at more risk if we are ill and cannot care for her.
