housing market ~ inequality ~ People in the UK ~ SHOCK ~ Shocking ~ UK
Increase government funding for the provision of social housing.
Not only is it hard for many people to compete in the housing market, but to make things worse there is also a lack of social housing around the UK. Therefore, there should be a far greater number of social housing in the UK.
At its core, homelessness is caused by inequality resulting in people's inability to compete in the housing market.Approximately one in five people in the UK are living in poverty, this is truly shocking. It is estimated that there are 280,000 homeless people in the UK, I am campaigning to attempt to dramatically reduce this figure.
