Weaken lockdown restrictions to aid the hospitalities industry
Many family run businesses are being destroyed leaving people unemployed and vunreble. The furlough scheme is not enough. By allowing restaurants to open not only will the lives of millions will be significantly improved but the economy will be boosted putting the UK in a better place.
This pressure group wants the government weaken lockdown restrictions in order to help out the hospitalities industry which has suffered severely. In the early stages of the tiers system the government was on the side of the people with the “eat out to help out” discounts to encourage people to support businesses damaged by COVID-19 restrictions. However now the government a sanctioning the downfall of family run businesses and livelihoods across the UK.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We understand you'd like to see lockdown rules relaxed for the hospitality industry, but we're not sure whether you'd like all hospitality venues to be able to open without restrictions, or something different.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
