Read out incorrect statements made by MPs.
When an MP makes an incorrect or misleading statement in the House of Commons, there should be a formal follow-up in the Commons where the statement is read out with the name & party of the MP, & a correction of the statement.
MPs frequently make incorrect or misleading statements in the House of Commons. These statements often go unchallenged in the heat of debate.
In order to maintain the value of debate, there should be a formal body that other MPs or members of the public can notify, together with evidence of the incorrectness.
Parliamentary time should then be set aside to allow these corrections to be made known to the House in detail. i.e. they should be read out in full.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It's already the case that Members can raise an issue at any point using a procedure called Points of Order. You can find out more here:

Members who mislead the House are expected to correct the record at an early opportunity.
