Increase funding for suicide prevention resources
Increase funding for suicide prevention. Suicide is listed as killing thousands each year in Wales and England alone. Especially during this pandemic when people are more vulnerable than usual.
Suicide is listed as the cause of death for thousands each year and there don't seem to be many resources for prevention and those that do exist seem woefully unequipped and underfunded.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand you want the Government to fund suicide prevention resources, but it's not clear what form these resources would take nor how they would be used or shared.
You could start a petition calling for the Government to fund specific types of resources or support aimed at reducing suicide rates, if that is something you'd like to happen.
In the meantime, you may wish to sign these petitions which call for specified forms of support aimed at reducing the rate of suicides in the UK:

petition.parliament.uk/petitions/552300
If you or someone you know is having suicidal thoughts or has been affected by suicide, you may wish to contact an organisation such as the Samaritans (www.samaritans.org) or Papyrus (papyrus-uk.org/) and ask them for support.
