Award a medal for the Covid-19 pandemic
I request that the UK Government issue a Covid-19 Medal (once the country is stable and the threat of Covid-19 is sufficiently diminished that normal life returns) to all of those that have faced danger in protecting, and caring for, the citizens of the UK from the Covid-19 virus.
Many UK citizens, and those with the right live and work in the UK, have taken risks to themselves to fight a global Pandemic which has impacted every region of the planet.
Not only has everyone in the UK suffered from disturbances to their lives, those directly involved have had to put their lives at direct risk, every day, and have done so willingly, yet have/are/will also suffer the mental and physical exhaustion associated with soldiers in battle.
