Magna Carta and the Human Rights Act integrated and written as a ‘Codified’ Law

Petition Details

It is of great importance that the UK needs to incorporate a written constitution which refutes the convention so that no future government can be bound irrevocably by the actions of a former government.

Additional Information

Magna Carta Law 1215 and the Human Rights Act 1998 are to be integrated into one written ‘Codified’ law. A new and improved law will outline citizens responsibilities and rights and is protected from being repealed The Magna Carta states that the Kingdom’s land and water are to be restored to its ancient customs. Relying on Magna Carta (1215) and the Human Rights Act (1998) for its legal basis, settling out rights, liberties and FREEDOM. And the abolishment of the Feudal System.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. These laws are already written 'codified' laws.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
