Consider banning toxic positivity in media portrails of disabled persons

Petition Details

What is toxic positivity? “Toxic positivity is the assumption, either by one's self or others, that despite a person's emotional pain or difficult situation, they should only have a positive mindset or — my pet peeve term — 'positive vibes' I believe it would be helpful if we stopped using this.

Additional Information

I believe this is detrimental to those of us with disabilities and we have seen an explosion in the toxic positivity in our communities particularly to those who live with or help look after the disabilities shown in this display of positivity
You will be aware of article 3 of the human rights act I believe several tech giants such as twitter and Facebook who allow these forms of toxic positivity to continue are aware of the amount of distress it causes
I believe they should be held to account
