Regulate the fuel industry so that the cost of fuel per litre is consistent.
The government need to regulate the fuel industry, especially fuel stations and the prices they charge which differ so drastically. The government should set a cap on the maximum that can be charged per litre at any time, it is then down to retailers to either charge the maximum or less.
Motorway services, rural areas and other areas that have singular fuel stations are getting away with charging a fortune for fuel per litre. There is no competition so they can at present charge whatever they want. The government are urged to regulate this and make this fair for all. Fuel should not cost more just because there is only one del station.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The UK Government do not set prices of commercial products, such as petrol.
You could start a petition calling for fuel duty to be limited or capped, if that's what you'd like to see happen.
