Garden Waste Bin Collection Should Be Free

Petition Details

Green bin collection has been free in the past and hence should continue to be, £40 is an outrageous price to pay to clean the garden. A clean, healthy and appealing garden is a necessity not a luxury. Is it really fair we have to pay for it? Maybe your neighbour can’t afford to own a pretty garden?

Additional Information

Due to the current position that the country is in many are financially unstable and therefore unable to pay this ridiculous price. Many gardens, front and back, will turn into jungles and consequently it’ll be the public who’d be suffering, pedestrians would have to resort to walking off the provided paths as hedges would take up space, causing accidents and much more. It’s selfish to take away safety from our children, friends and the disabled, the elderly and the animals would also suffer.
