Impact of lockdown on mental health

Petition Details

I wish Parliament to look at other ways of dealing with the pandemic beyond the scope of Lockdowns. I feel healthy people are being impacted beyond the remit of the disease effects. The toll on the mental health of all should be considered and held above the pandemic in regard of future potential.

Additional Information

Parliament acts on behalf of the people and it is their duty to safeguard mental health for all and shield the effects of the pandemic from the public. The government should set up an independent review into alternative measures to control the virus

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We understand you're concerned about the UK Government's approach to the Covid-19 pandemic, however it's not clear what alternative measures you want the Government to consider or adopt.

You could start a petition calling on the Government to implement specific alternative measures in response to the pandemic, if that is something you'd like to happen.
