Petition Action

To stop Insurance companies using the non-motoring conviction for extra premiums

Petition Details

To stop insurance companies cashing in on non-motoring convictions.
This has no effect on the capability of a users driving ability to need to declare this type of personal information.
Your insurance is invalid, if you do not declare convictions spent or unspent.

Additional Information

Ban the use of non- motoring convictions and allow people with non-motoring convictions to not be discriminated on non motoring issues.

It is appalling how any premiums are effected by Age, Location, Marital status as well as Employment. Why should a conviction that has nothing to data reflect the use of insurance.
Is the public aware of the difference in quotes due the simple YES and NO. This is not just Car insurance issue, but all types of insurances.
