Set minimum working temperature requirements in law for all workplaces

Petition Details

The Government should set minimum working temperatures of all workplaces in law. As it currently stands a Code of Practice produced by HSE says that they should be a certain temperature, but I believe that there should be a legal minimum temperature of 16 degrees or over for all workplaces.

Additional Information

I’ve worked for 3 years now in a warehouse that isn’t heated and we as workers have to wear a large amount of layers to stay warm and it’s hard to work with your hands when they have no sensation in them. I believe workplaces should be required to heat these kinds of environments.
