Petition Action

Help Early Years

Petition Details

The Early Years Sector is penalised from every area
Look at VAT, Business Rate Exemption, PPE Allowances, In House Testing - the list is endless
Treat us with Equality - Either allow us to run our Businesses, or pay for the True losses incurred by the delivery of the Government Scheme

Additional Information

Allowances to claim back VAT on purchases for our Business
Make us Business Rates Exempt or Discounts on Services we have to outsource
Stop using the word FREE, facilities are having to find ways to make up the losses.....
Would like them to consider the word and meaning behind Economic Equality - and ask why our sector is continuously ignored, oppressed and persecuted
We ask that it put's a minster in charge of Early Years - that actual understands the sector, and isn't just there as a political stepping stone

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.

You may wish to sign this petition calling for a similar action: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/567756

If you want the Government to take a different action to the above, you could start a new petition requesting this, but it would need to request a clear and specific action from the Government.
