Dissolve the £1750 quarantine rule imposed to UK and Irish nationals/residents
The UK government has to review this policy, that despite being recent, it has already affected many travellers with lower incomes. Emigrants and UK natives struggling financially should not have to bear the costs of a government plan.
The restrictions imposed will affect not only students, but all with lower incomes that are required to travel. Currently, my parents are struggling financially, and I work a mininal wage job to support myself, which is not enough to cover the costs of flights, vaccines and accomodation.
Quarantines are essential to keep the UK safe however, forcing people to pay such an absurd high price is not acceptable, and it is a breach of freedom of movement, to those impaired by financial conditions.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
You may wish to sign this petition calling for a similar action: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/571447
If you want this to be expanded to cover Irish citizens we could accept a new petition requesting this, although it would need to be clear if you wanted the requirement to quarantine to be lifted, or the charge for quarantining to be lifted.
