Start testing and/or screening for Prostate Cancer in the UK at age 50.
Start testing prostate screening at 50, starting with PSA blood tests. Every 45 minutes 1 man dies from prostate cancer – that's more than 11,500 men every year.
1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in UK.
More than 47,500 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year. 129 men every day.
Around 400,000 men are living with and after prostate cancer.
The symptoms for prostate cancer are minimal.
My dad has just been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer and had no symptoms, it was a freak one off event that led him to getting checked out. If he was tested at 50 this could have been caught earlier.
