Living cost must not be raised for those who have worked through the pandemic.
To not raise the living costs of people who have worked through the pandemic, via energy costs and tax rises etc. These people didn't get furloughs, grants and more than likely had to book holidays or take ssp when isolating. Its unfair that these people should have to pay back these grants.
It's unfair that living costs will rise via council tax, utility bills and other tax rises to help pay for furlough and grants given out to those who had an entitlement to these schemes. Workers who have kept this country moving should not have to pay back in to the pot they never stopped paying in to in the first place. The government helped those who "claimed" for it, its time for those people to pay back in to the system. People who worked lost money via ssp when having to isolate!
