Humbly petition Her Majesty the Queen for a Knighthood for Ken Loach, film-maker
Recognise the enormous contribution to the British film culture and industry of this Palme d'Or winner at the world's most prestigious film festival, Cannes.
Knighthoods rarely go to deserving recipients. His work is consistently of a high standard as proven by his long record of Bafta- and Palme d'Or-winning cinema.
