DO NOT suspend the school summer holidays for children in 2021.
Do not suspend the school summer holidays this year. Please do not force these children who have fought throughout the months to ensure that they stay on top of their education and stay safe. This would but nothing but a punishment!
Many children have battled these past months to ensure themselves and their loved ones stay safe during this pandemic, making them attend school during what is meant to be their free time would be cruel. If children are sent to school during what is meant to be their summer holidays it could affect many people’s mental health and work quality. These children could easily become mentally exhausted, instead increase school hours/send younger children into school who are still early in development.
