To elevate Sir David Attenborough from a Knight to a member of the House of Lords.
Where his knowledge, passion, wisdom and influence can help shape government policy and law making.
Sir David has been a national and global inspiration in the fields of climate change, nature conservation, ecology, education, pollution and environmental issues.
His impact and life long contribution deserved to be acknowledged at the highest level.
