Change the age restriction on energy drinks to 13+ (Monsters, Relentless etc)
Just change the age restriction.
Well some shops sell energy drinks to teenagers anyway. Alot of teenagers will be happier because of this change. Plus thirteen and sixteen is only a three year age gap so really what difference is it making? Shops would also make more profit.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
At the moment there is no law that prevents under-16s from buying energy drinks, so we don't know what you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Many shops and supermarkets ban people under 16 from buying energy drinks, but that is a decision for them, not the UK Government or Parliament.
We could accept a petition asking for people under 13 to be banned from buying energy drinks if that's what you'd like to happen.
