Lower citizenship fees for children under 18

Petition Details

At the moment the Home Office charges an astonishing £1,012 per child to apply for the British citizenship which is unacceptably expensive!

Additional Information

Many EU and non-EU UK residents are applying for British citizenship for themselves and their children after Brexit due to the uncertainty around residence.

I personally paid over £5,000 for 2 adults and 2 kids! It will be of great help for UK residents seeking citizenship for their children if the government review and reduce this exorbitant charge on children.
