End of the tv licence

This e-petition calls for the abolition of the TV licence which only serves to line the pockets of already over paid executives when advertising would pay to run The BBC.

I am sure many in the UK are now subscribers to alternative tv services and feel that paying the licence fee as well is ridiculous.
