For children from age of 14 to be able to have voting stations in schools
For schools to Have small voting sessions for 14 years and up so they have a voice in what happens
So they get to be heard in the community and get the know what it's like to have a opinion in change
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand you want children aged 14 and over to "be heard in the community" but we're not sure what kind of elections you want them to be able to vote in, or whether you want them to be allowed to take part in 'mock elections' as part of their education.
You could start a petition calling for the voting age in general elections to be lowered to 14, if that is something you'd like to see happen.
