Create a Bank Holiday on the 21st June for the victory of freedom from COVID-19
To create a Bank Holiday to celebrate to heroic efforts of all those involved in gaining freedom against Covid-19. To also acknowledge the sacrifices given by old and young members of society and spend this time with family which was once taken away.
It will give a time to remember those who lost their lives, who fought for our protection (NHS), those who brought hope (Sir Tom Moore) and our politicians/ medical advisors who helped keep the country going. It will be a moment to be grateful for our freedom that many of us took advantage of and spend time with our loved ones as once this wasn’t allowed.
