Petition Action

Do not make face masks compulsory in English classrooms

Petition Details

Please do not mandate the wearing of face coverings in secondary school classrooms across England.
Allow students who wish to wear them to do so. Provide teachers with more protection. Wearing a face covering for 6 hours a day will be uncomfortable and may increase the risk of the virus spreading.

Additional Information

Please provide scientific evidence and a cost benefit analysis. We would like government to ensure us this won't be mandated and will be entirely optional.
