elderly action

Additional Information

Britain has a growing elderly population and around a third face isolation, cold and as a result ill health .

They do not have a first world standard of living in 2013!

Action (i) Government scheme to keep elderly more productive.

Action (ii) Many elderly have pensions and it is not worth working because of low tax code, high taxation etc. By reducing the burden on the state and being productive for the country is beneficial. Higher tax code and lower tax rate for pensioners (public, private and 3rd sector) who choose to work and be productive. To ensure being productive is worth while.

Action (iii) The government will be aware that wealth generation of a country comes from greater economic activity of a country. Don't ignore any group in raising economic activity. Raise economic activity particularly amongst the elderly.

Action (iii) Government schemes to help elderly network, keep active, share ideas, build businesses
