Revise the Consumer Act Right to reject when buying and selling horses.
Those who deal in horses as a business should be regulated more rigorously. Buyers need more protection with strengthened laws. Buyer beware may well apply to private sellers but regulation could be applied here too.
Personal experience, the examples on many social platforms of others bad experiences, the existence and need for equine lawyers. Many thousands of people are suffering financial and emotional losses, and the current consumer law does not meet the needs of this particular sector.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about arrangements for buying and selling horses, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Your petition refers to regulation and changes to consumer rights, but it's not sure how you want the trade of horses to be regulated, or what changes you want to be made to consumer rights.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
