Mental Health Promotion in Schools

Additional Information

The Government Report No Health without Mental Health states:
'If we are to build a healthier, more
productive and fairer society in which
we recognise difference, we have to
build resilience, promote mental health
and wellbeing, and challenge health
inequalities. We need to prevent mental ill health, intervene early when it occurs, and improve the quality of life of people with mental health problems and their families'.

This petition calls for the Department of Education to offer Mental Health Promotion to all children attending School in the UK. To facilitate an end to Stigma and offer early intervention to Children or Teenagers suffering with Mental Health Issues.
