Petition Action

Make teachers a priority group for vaccination

Petition Details

We would like a separate priority group to be created for teachers to be vaccinated and put them in the highest priority group out of the existing unvaccinated groups in light of schools reopening

Additional Information

Schools are reopening and teachers are unprotected making their workplace an unsafe and high risk environment. Teachers are also key workers on a frontline. They are putting their lives at risk as they have to sit in enclosed spaces with large groups of people. There has already been an unfortunately large proportion of mortality and morbidity in this group
