All Government policies should be passed by the British People

Additional Information

The British people should always, and without exception, have a referendum on CORE policies which would impact their way of life. The cost of this would be achieved via a slight raise in VAT and categorically closing Tax Loopholes. If there was no more than a 50% turn out, then the proposed policy would have no mandate for implementation.
