This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you are concerned about limits to the number of people who can attend weddings and funerals, but we're not sure what changes you'd like the Government to make to these rules.

We have published the following petitions, which you might like to sign:

Permit larger weddings based on guests testing negative for COVID-19: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/550498

Review wedding restrictions monthly: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/552244

Introduce rapid Covid-19 testing for weddings to permit close contact of guests: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/561608

Extend the limit for weddings to 30 with COVID 19 restrictions: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/552039

Weddings to be allowed from the 17th of May with a maximum of 150: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/576593

Allow up to 30 people to attend a wake: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/551483

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
