Petition Action

Commission NICE to assess the efficacy of Ivemectin to treat/prevent Covid-19

Petition Details

Commission NICE to assess the existing evidence on the use of this drug to prevent and treat Covid-19

If this evidence does not recommend its use now, to commission NICE to carry out trials to assess the effectiveness of Ivermectin to treat and prevent all stages of Covid-19 and update its advice

Additional Information

There is mounting evidence worldwide supporting the use of Ivermectin to prevent and treat Covid-19

Many doctors are now advocating its use

The Government has not responded

NICE has not updated its advice on Ivermectin

If the evidence is correct, NICE has failed to deliver its primary objective to improve outcomes for those using the NHS

Government must urgently remedy these failings by commissioning NICE to investigate and update its advice to the health and care system
