Ban the DVLA from selling car owners details without the owners permission.
Many ‘cowboy’ so called parking companies are trying to ‘fine’ shoppers etc if they overstay by a minute or two.
They bully and threaten car owners to pay up.
It is NOT a fine, it is an invoice but many people feel threatened and pay up unnecessary.
The recipients of these ‘ fines’ are law abiding citizens. They are not committing a crime.
These companies use confusion and nearly impossible to read signage hoping to fool drivers to believe they are parking within the rules.
This is totally unacceptable, scandalous behaviour and the first step is to stop the DVLA from supplying our private information.
In this day and age of data protection how on earth can this be legal.
