Ensure accuracy in the 2021 UK census.
Political activist groups are deliberately encouraging their readers to respond with the term "European" to the following question "How would you describe your national identity".
Since Europe isn't a nation & never has been, and such groups are encouraging their readers to deliberately mislead the census for political purposes. We call for the government to strike any such responses from the census results, by marking the response as invalid.

It is up to individuals how to answer questions in the census, and it is the ONS's responsibility to compile a census report based on individual responses.
